Bring your class, homeschool co-op or group for a fun & educational field trip at the farm!!! Great for ALL ages! Toddlers to Seniors!
Field Trip at the Farm – 2 hours:
Our field trips can accommodate 10-66 students on a weekday (Thurs & Fri)!
On our fun and educational field trips to the farm we have so many fun things planned!
- Guided tour & feed all the animals – we have 75 animals here at the farm including camels, llamas, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, bunnies, chickens, ducks, emus and more!!!
- Petting Pen – get up close and interact with our small, friendly farm animals like goats, bunnies, piglets and silkie chickens!
- Playground – the kids always love time at our large playground with lots of swings!
- TWO Farm Stations of your choice!
Farm Station Options:
- Dairy Education Station – Milk a REAL cow & learn all about dairy animals! (Unavailable until Dec 2026)
- Egg Education Station – Collect eggs from the chicken coop & learn all about chickens!
- Fiber Education Station – Spin sheep wool into yarn & learn all about fiber animals!
- Curious Compassion – Meet our special needs farm animals and learn how to ask curious questions about friends with physical differences in a compassionate way!
- Tractor Ride – great for pre-k who love tractors! Not available for students over 5 years old.
- U-Pick Flowers (seasonal) – Learn about compost & pick a small flower bouquet to take home!
- Butterfly Nursery (seasonal) – Learn about the life cycle of butterflies & importance of pollinators!
- Goatmilk Soap Specialty Class – ADDITIONAL $15 per student ($27 total)
- Wool Dryer Ball Specialty Class – ADDITIONAL $15 per student ($27 total)
Weekday field trip time slots:
Thursdays & Fridays from 10am-12pm
with optional picnic lunch 12-1pm
FIELD TRIP PRICE
- Price per student participant – $12
- Adult chaperones – $12 at gate
- All TEACHER & school staff – FREE
- Minimum 10 participants
- Maximum is 66 participants
Deposits:
Deposits waived for field trips.

Parking:
Personal vehicles (cars, vans, small shuttle bus) park in our normal public parking lot at 9036 Magenta Ln.
School buses park our west field entrance at 13800 Moccasin Gap Rd. Please see map above and notify bus driver not to turn on Magenta Ln.
Payments:
Payment due upon arrival at farm.
We can take one bulk payment or each family can pay separately upon entrance. We accept cash, check or card payments. If you need to have a check cut by your school or finance department please be sure you request all documents (W9, COI, PTSA, etc) that you will need from us in advance in order to have the check approved and ready to hand us when you arrive. We reserve the right to refuse service if payment is not made upon arrival.
